Maryam Zahra Kazimi is a London-based interdisciplinary artist, making work within the expanded field of drawing, at the intersection of installation, intervention, research-creation and socially engaged art.
After completing a Foundation at City & Guilds of London Art School, Maryam studied Fine Art Sculpture at Winchester School of Art, with an exchange semester at Beaux-Arts de Paris. She lives in London and works between London and Southampton.
In 2020, Maryam founded the fictional interdisciplinary art collective 'Just Three Boys in Kimonos', comprising a group of philosophically-inclined housemates who cynically yet naively navigate creative expression, 'self-actualisation' and radical pedagogies through their respective art practices.
